Point Cook Tutoring began in 2014 with a heartfelt mission: to create a space where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired. Parthiv Valera, driven by a passion for purposeful teaching, started with just two students and a vision to uplift bright minds often overlooked by traditional systems.

Today, that vision lives on in every lesson we deliver. We don’t just tutor—we empower. Our centres have become a second home for hundreds of families who believe learning should spark confidence, ignite curiosity, and shape futures filled with purpose.

2020 – COVID-19

When the world paused in 2020, we moved faster. Within 6 hours of lockdown, our entire program went online—ensuring nearly 200 students stayed supported and inspired.
That same year, we launched our in-house workbooks and planted the seed for our proudest achievement: Select School Melbourne—a program built for high-potential students chasing excellence.

A Smarter Way Forward

Our journey has always been driven by a clear purpose: to make learning smarter, more efficient, and accessible to every student. As our community grew, so did our commitment to innovation. We built custom systems for seamless parent communication and launched a student portal for instant access to feedback, resources, and support—anytime, anywhere.

In 2022, we reached a defining milestone: the opening of our first commercial learning centre at Wallace Avenue. It marked our evolution from a growing tutoring service into a full-fledged educational institution—designed for the future.

Inside our classrooms, technology met teaching. With digital pens, projectors, and real-time blended learning, we created a space where online and in-person students could thrive together. This wasn’t just growth—it was a transformation, built on the belief that tutoring should lead the change, not follow it.

2023 – A New Chapter Begins

2023 marked a powerful new beginning with the launch of Tarneit Tutoring, extending our mission to even more families. Through community events, school seminars, sponsorships, and a strong social media presence, our reach—and impact—grew stronger than ever.

With students across two thriving centres, Point Cook Tutoring, Select School Melbourne, and Tarneit Tutoring became more than just places of learning. Together, they became a trusted educational partner for hundreds of families seeking support, connection, and success.
